With regards to our mentor so far, Mrs Galvin has been amazing.
She has bonded well with all the children and has them thoroughly engaged in every session. There has already been an improvement on their confidence and their enthusiasm to read, which is lovely to see.
Year 1 at Dundale Primary School are very lucky to have Judith, a volunteer with the Icane Foundation, working with them on their reading, phonics and general oracy. Our children benefit so much from interactions with adults – and we are thrilled to be supported by Judith and the Icane Foundation.
The children are excited and its great support for children and teachers
